Facility Technician at EuroMaint

About the Role

As a facility technician, you will be a key person in keeping our workshop in top shape. You will be responsible for ensuring that operational equipment functions optimally, so that the maintenance of our vehicles can be carried out without interruptions. Your daily tasks will include everything from preventing faults and following up inspections to quickly handling urgent problems as they arise. You will also be a driving force in identifying and implementing improvements. Additionally, you will participate in the investment work for new equipment and special tools - a perfect opportunity for you who want to help shape the future technology in our workshop.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out inspections of equipment and report deviations
• Ensure that deviations are addressed – either by yourself or in collaboration with contractors
• Be responsible for both planned and corrective maintenance being performed correctly and on time
• Ensure that inspections are carried out according to applicable requirements
• Document and report the status and condition of operational equipment
• Participate in analyses, maintenance plans, and investment plans for equipment and special tools

You will be part of facility maintenance, where you will work alongside engaged colleagues with similar expertise and towards common goals.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest who enjoys combining practical work with analytical thinking. You are structured, meticulous, and have safety as a natural part of your work. To succeed in this role, you need to have a technical high school education or equivalent, as well as experience from a similar technical role. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing and have good IT skills. If you also have experience as a mechanical technician or from the railway industry, we consider that an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have an electrical background and can read electrical diagrams.
